I will check out roscoe village bikes, they got very good reviews on yelp and they said they could get it done by thursday. Thanks all for the suggestions

Turin, Turin, Turin. Did I mention Turin? Great shop, and super nice people.

Although being a single speed, that takes a large portion of the complexity out of tuning it up. You sure you can't do the work yourself?

Hi We'd love to help you at any of our 2 North side shops. On The Route Bicycles at 3144 N Lincoln ave or 2338 W Lawrence. Tell them Joanne sent you.

Rehashing this - does anyone know of tune up deals going on now?

Looking to get my whip tuned up over the coming weekend

While it is possible you may get a bike tuned up over the weekend right now I think this is a good time to remind people of something very important when it comes to bicycle service.

It's spring people and you are not the only one who knows it.

As the weather changes and the riding season gets into swing service queues are going to grow and grow.  There are shops out there that can get as far as 3 weeks out on their service queue so you really need to plan accordingly.  Don't be the guy coming in late March or early April expecting not only a deal, but to have a fast turn around time, because it's nice out and you want to ride your bike because, literally, EVERY OTHER PERSON WITH A BIKE is having the same thought.

I was looking to drop my bike off today and not expect it back till sometime next week.  I know this is that time of year.  5 years ago when I moved here I learned this valuable lesson.

Just looking if any shops had specials going on or combos available thats all.

THANK YOU FOR THE INFO THOUGH I AM NOT LOOKING TO BE THAT GUY OR LIKE EVERY OTHER PERSON :P

Hi, If Lakeview, Lincoln Square or Dtown, South Loop locations work out. We will put your bike in a stand with you go over what you need and guarantee it in 72 hours or less. New Custy loyalty program loans you a rntal bike if longer. Rarely is. We got this. On The Route Bicycles
