I've noticed majority of the members here live in the city and ride street bikes. I was wondering who all does any trail riding? I know there's not much around here. I live just south of Chicago in South Holland. Over In Lansing/Thornton we've got Sweet woods to ride. I can honestly say they are some of the most technical and best trails around if your really really into it like me. I've been too Palos and Portage and their trails are rather weak. I thought they'd be awesome cause I heard nothing but good from them. But since I began riding at sweet woods before those other areas, my cuzzin and I found that we just tore threw them with ease. If your ever in Cal City off of Burnham ave, you'll prob drive by Cal City Cycle. Those guys over there home grew sweet woods from the ground up and really have made some amazing stuff. So stop by the shop and say hi if you want. I know they are always eager to go ride. I ride daily through sweet woods. And if your interested and need directions or something shoot me a message on here. I'm always looking for people too ride with and also we need help grooming the trails. I'm gunna be making a website pretty soon with pics and directions and stuff. This are not official trails or anything and you can get hurt pretty bad if your not careful. Ride at your own risk. I'd hate for something too happen to someone and the trails be ruined after all the hard work of some individuals.

I ride trails every one of my weekends, which conveniently is Monday and Tuesdays when no one is on them. If you like techy trails, go to Blue mound state park in Wisco, about a half hour west of Madison.

the cambr map is more accurate and up to date, as they are the ones building and maintaining trails.
like I said, the orange trails - perimeter, not the ones in the center - are the ones to ride. and any non marked off shoots from there. ride them both ways back and forth. if it isn't enough for anyone, don't complain, just go ride somewhere else.
