So...the Tour de Fat 2017 will not be in the morning, it will not be in Palmer Square and as far as I know perhaps it won't have a Bike Parade.

I'm all for sleeping in but an evening event in the form of a concert series is just too heartbreaking at this time.

If anyone has information, tips for getting over it or general discussion on the matter, please do so below!

Thank you. Looks like y'all are on it!

Wasn't there a band in the 80's...Tears For Beers?

:'(
Brian, thank you for posting and keeping the conversation alive. You ask an interesting question, "how do we get over it?" Yes indeed, this is an upsetting change for most in our cycling community, and how do we deal with this heartbreaking loss?

In case you were also not aware, another 'fun' ride, The L.A.T.E. Ride has also been cancelled for 2017. These two rides were, in my opinion, bonding and unifying events for many in the Chicagoland cycling community.

I said in Andrew Bedno's post on The L.A.T.E .Ride, we have to work on reversing this trend somehow. We have to become proactive and creative and perhaps find another sponsor for these types of rides and/or just do without them.

Suggestions - Ideas?
