We went to Sweetwoods. This is NOT intended for a cyclocross bike, but hey, I work at a shop and can get parts cheap, so I figured what the hell.

She did oookay. Those skinny tires were whooping my butt over logs though! The grit from the mud really took effect on my brakes... but hey, who needs 'em! (wink wink) I ended up jumping off and running a large portion of the trail, but I expected that. The people I rode with were either on Trek Fuels or Sessions. Yeah...

I fell off god knows how many times, but I'm no worse for the wear! (minus the 4 or 5 bites my chainring gave me, various random cuts, and tons of bruises. haha)

And as the buddy I rode with said, "Rule number one: DO NOT bleed on the bike!" (and yes, I bled on my bike. I'm sorry!! haha)

This post is just for fun. =)

None of the actual trail, though the camera was with me the whole time. (It's water proof, shock proof, nuclear holocaust proof...) I was having too much fun. =)

The trail was a little bit soggy, but it was obvious the soggiest parts were 'problem spots' because they were sunken down. This was my first time out there... most of it was single track, actually. There is the main path which is a dual track, and little loops shooting off from it which are single. All in all a good ride.

Come with next time!
For sure for sure. Same goes for when I take my horse out... no need to dent up the trails/grass/whatever. We were intentionally nailing the puddles as hard as we could... so mud obviously ensued. The rest of the trail was wet, but not 'glop'... it's hard to explain.

Let's just say we weren't leaving tire marks. =)
lol, I taught him to do that on cue. It's a response horse's naturally have to a strange smell. Now, he does it whenever he thinks you have food, and he'll stick that groty lip like 2" from your face. *sigh*

He knows how to shake, nod and shake his head, count, 'show' his feet, give hugs, and bow. He is seriously a 1200lb dog. lol
