This past Sunday, 11/8 - cyclist injury update?

I was riding on that bridge right after Navy Pier to connect to the South Side around 10:30am on 11/8 and there was a cyclist that had obviously taken a nasty fall or something/someone hit him (right before that bridge work). He was on the ground (not the sidewalk), face was scratched up - anyone see this or know what happened and know if he was okay? The police were just getting there as I was taking off - so many people stopped, I figured one more would get in the way.
