Sadness... I've been avoiding that area for a week now. Crossing on foot at that intersection (Michigan Ave / Oak St) has gotten too dangerous with oncoming cars running the red light on their left turn. 

I used to play a game of "how many cars can I get to stop as I cross when I get the walk signal, blocking Michigan?" It got dumb and dangerous. I just take Randolph from Washington now.
