Automobiles?
I wouldn't blame a hunk of metal, glass, rubber, and plastic.
It's the drivers of said automobiles that are the problem, not the inanimate object they are supposedly "operating."
But yes, I hate it too when automobile drivers discount us puny human-powered road-users as beneath notice or yielding the right of way to when they decide to just turn across our paths without looking or signaling. It's like they only respect other large moving objects and anything substantially smaller than them should just get the HELL out of their way.
Funny you mention this. This morning for the first time ever, I had an SUV driver on Wells stop in front of me deliberately twice in an attempt to harrass me by making me swerve around them. The first time he did it, I thought it was just a situation where he had decided to turn right at the last moment to turn into a garage, but when he then continued straight, passed me, swerved in front of me again and stopped abruptly a second time for no legitimate reason, I realized it was purposeful. I have no idea why he did this. I feel sorry for people whose lives are so miserable that they do things like this ever, but especially at 6:45 on a beautiful winter morning.
That's just horrible, not to mention very creepy. Any chance you remember the license plate or make/model, as that seems to be a bit out of the ordinary and would take extra effort for someone to go out of their way to harass a cyclist. Please take care and watch out for yourself.

Well, of course JB. I used the term loosely. Most people got it. Or, you just being funny?
Although, I do get mad at the HUMMER even when it's just sitting there...

What I said above is pretty much a paraphrasing of what Travis at Bike, a Noun, a Verb was saying the other day.

Thanks, Melanie, I appreciate the support. I have his full license plate memorized, as it's simply a last name, and will keep watch for him in the future.
