The Communications Sciences and Disorders Research Group Wants to Organize a Bike-a-thon

We need your help. Our group is a non-profit collaboration among speech-language pathologists seeking to determine what treatments are optimal for different diseases and conditions involving communication. For the child with language challenges, the soldier with traumatic brain injury, or the senior with Alzheimer's disease or parkinsonism, the optimal treatments, for many of the communications components of these situations, have not been established. Our group finds out which of those treatments should in fact by used.

As part of our fund-raising (to support our activities), we would like to organize a bike-a-thon in Chicago, where our organization is based. However, we have no experience in doing so and would welcome any help about what we should do and when.

Thanks.
