Thanks to nice people

Just want to say thanks to the five cyclists who slowed down to ask if I needed anything as I changed a flat on the lakefront path yesterday! Proud to live in Chicago! I just needed to voice this somewhere public....

Ain't that cool? Similar situation happened to me on the Prairie Path. I can get really down on mankind in general when I read the headlines -- then something like this comes along to remind me that many, if not most, of us are pretty good to have around.
