A Teenage boy riding North on Monticello was struck as he crossed Berteau and was thrown to the ground as the car ran over his front tire.

When I rode up to the scene, his mother was there calling an Ambulance as a witness expressed concerns he maybe injured because she saw his head hit the street (he was not wearing a helmet).

The Police Officer was talking to the driver while the boy sat in the Police SUV with the door open,waiting for the Ambulance.

I left just as the Ambulance drove up...but I did Talk to the Mother and introduced her to an "eye witness" that saw the accident so they could exchange numbers.
