Take a minute to speak up for better biking in Wicker Park & Bucktown

WPB, a special service area funded by Wicker Park & Bucktown which has an annual budget of over $1 million, is evaluating its programs. Please take a moment to voice your support to continue and expand its transportation programs, which have included:
- the bike corral at the Flatiron Building
First bike locked to the new on-street bike rack
- additional orange bike racks around the area
WPB Bike Rack Installation
- the Milwaukee Avenue Open Streets festival
Jump in the Line- Open Streets Chicago Wicker Park Bucktown 9/16/2012
- free bike light events
Bike Light Give-Away 9/14/10
- plus murals, street cleaning, snow clearance, and a lot more around the neighborhood

and could include many more -- the WPB Master Plan calls for everything from bike boxes and bike signals to bike incentive programs to new public parks along Milwaukee Avenue. Take their quick, six-question survey and vote for better biking!

(I used to live in the neighborhood and was an original co-chair of the commission's Transportation Committee. Hope you all appreciate some of our ideas!)

Thanks.  Completed the survey, but the little map there that asks if you live in the blue shaded area is hard to read.  I just said 'yes' anyway.
