About the WM:

The Worthwhile Mile is a project to promote health and adventure while raising awareness and funds to support worthy causes. It accomplishes this by organizing and publicizing service-oriented cycling events executed by both the WM and other local initiatives.

The WM's mission is to improve support and awareness through advocacy for patient populations and health topics that are less understood, under-researched and/or under-represented. With public health and equity at its core, the WM believes:

ACTIVE ADVENTURE + WORTHY CAUSES = IMPROVED AWARENESS, SERVICES & QUALITY OF LIFE

How ironic. I'm looking for a Muslim cyclist to help plan this year's Jewish Muslim bike ride we've put on the last 2 years. Our awesome Muslim cohort, shafaq, is moving out of the state.

This is a great idea. Cycling has always been a great form of empowerment and has deep roots to women's suffrage.
