Stuff to give away (feel free to post a need as well.)

Some junk bikes/frames that are hanging out in my garage for no good reason.  Salvageable parts on them. A red Gary Fisher Tarpon that's about 90% whole.  An older aluminum Gary Fisher with a bad dent in the frame.  I think there's a specialized mountain bike in fairly bad shape kicking around in there.

 

Near 24th/Western. I hate putting cars on the road for free crap (which is why Free-Cycle makes me cringe) so ideally you'd have a human powered way to pick up or at least wouldn't drive  from too far away.

I could come down on saturday and see what you have left. Theres a few things I'd be interested in. Some of the plants and the bike frames. And if no one takes the speakers I could use them.

I have a nice blue colored schwinn hybrid/MTB frame that can be re-built. the fork is sound too; but other than that it needs re-built. I also have tons of random parts that I will give away free or donate.

 

I am moving August 1st and really need to start de-cluttering. I live in Humboldt Park and can be

id be interested in the celosia.  i could use color in the yard. probably some basil, too. the hostas i got from you previously arent very happy in my yard.  i may also be interested in the tarpon to start preparing another winter bike.

 

i get my trailer back today, and my truck is officially off the road again.  im free thursday, probably tomorrow as well.

a number of the leaves browned on the edges.  not all leaves, but many.  the other hosta that i already had that was doing amazingly well started going bad as well

I have a kindle 2 with a cracked screen. Aside from the screen it works. Unfortunately the screen is the most expensive part to replace. If anyone can find an e-ink screen for cheap or can make use of it it's yours.

 

PS. U-locks and kindles don't get a long well in back packs.

they see about 2 hrs of full sun. Completely shaded by buildings the rest of the time.

Has the old Specialized already been claimed?  Do you know the size, extent of damage, etc?  I'd be happy to swing by in my non-motorized hauling capacity and take a look.
