Street Rack on Milwaukee @ North and Damen removal

Its being removed for the winter for ease of plowing. If you bike is locked to it its going to be moved.

Saw them taking it down this AM around 8.

That is what the guys taking it down said. They just needed to be able to allow for the inevitable plowing that will need to be done on a main artery like Milwaukee Ave.

I think they were going to chain the two bikes that were on the rack this AM to a post, not sure how that will work.

It's being removed because Milwaukee Avenue is a emergency snow route - the sign above the parking said "Bike parking April to November".
