Stream of cyclists down Noble on Saturday 6/14 - anyone know why?

I saw an amazingly steady stream of cyclists going south on Noble on Saturday late afternoon/early evening, between Chicago and Grand.

I know Noble is a good cycling street but this had "event" written all over it. Anyone know if there was an organized ride or anything?

Alex, it was the WNBR/Chicago listed here on the Chainlink. It was an awesome ride. We had about 2000 riders this year. Our meet up point was at Eckhart park on Chicago & Nobel. See you next year on June 13, 2015.

Thanks! Sorry I missed the listing.

Did you not notice that a lot of riders were scantily clad?

Naked cyclists must be a normal thing in the neighborhood.

Typically the participants don't "get into their WNBR outfits" until they arrive at the assembly area.

None of them that I saw were naked. Maybe I attributed any unusually-bared skin to one of the first warm weekends of the year.
