The Chainlink

Stolen bike found on Craigslist & recoverd (not local). Some entertaining reading inside...

Hi guys! long time no see.

I have to admit I've been a little unfaithful to thechainlink and have been spending a lot of time on a car forum (gasp!). Don't worry, I'm not a crazy driver, but I luvs my subie; and I'm taking every opportunity that comes up there to speak up for cyclists - and I've found that most subie guys are also way into biking too.

....Anyways, here's a story that unfolded recently about a guy who's antique gios was stolen, found on CL, and reacquired. Thought you'd all get a kick out of it (despite the huge amount of stereotypical immature young male gear-head banter that goes on).(you've been warned).

Excellent! Many laughs here, and I learned a lot about vigilante justice technique and etiquette.
Shoulda broke his knees. Oh well.

Widespread, palpable disappointment that no bike thief blood was shed.
Is that a statement about American society in the 21st century, or just about Subaru drivers?
