Black Angel chopper.. Last seen in the vicinity of North and Kedzie..

I am sure many of you know the owner and have seen this bike. Now it is gone, and I am just trying to spread the word. If seen/recovered, please contact me @ bike.everywhere@gmail.com

I do not have the owners number(old number) or email, but can get word to them. Unless someone else can chime in with a number contact. Just trying to get the word out.

Awesome!

As an aside, I see on the SBR that it was locked with a chain through the frame and front wheel.  Just how long of a chain did they have to lock through the front wheel AND the frame on that chopper?  WOW, that must have been a 10' chain and had to have been heavy to carry around.

I'm glad it was recovered.  Hopefully the chain was recovered too.

Seams to be a lot of stolen bikes showing up at Humboldt Park this year. This is the 4 of fifth so far and it is still spring!

This thief was clearly an idiot. It's one thing to steal a $3000 road bike and strip it for parts, it's another thing to lift a bike that's one of a kind. Even if he gave it a new paint job it would still be the same bike. I'm happy to hear it was recovered!

If you took that one of a kind bike to another city I don't think it would be that hard to sell.  Or even sold it on CL using a dummy picture of a different chopper bike and baiting & switching and meeting in a public place so that the buyer never knew who you really were.

Untraceable.  Some thieves are not stupid -or at least smart enough to never get caught.   The next buyer often gets stuck with the rap when a unique bike like this is spotted -not the thief who is long gone if he knows what he is doing.
