Hey all, just wanted to let everyone here know that my bike was stolen. We discovered that several storage units in the basement of our apartment had the locks cut off them this morning and my bike was gone from ours. I'm super sad. I'm posting info about it here in case anyone sees anything! It was registered on the bike registry.

I know about the swap-o-rama and wish I could get up there today but I probably can't until Saturday, which most likely means my bike will be gone by then even if it were there. If anyone happens to be going this week to check for their bike too I'd love to connect for double-duty. :)

My bike was a blue Specialized Expedition. There's pictures of it included. Please keep an eye out for me!

Did you report it to the stolen bike registry?

I hope you get that nice ride back!

A pic is good but get those serial numbers of your bottom bracket. Hopefully you did.

yes i posted it to the stolen bike registry, and yes it was registered with the city and we have the serial numbers. we live in albany park, at wilson and whipple st.

i am so bummed out.

I am in Albany Park as well and will keep my eyes open for your bike. How did  they get into the storage area?

C'mon guys, it's all in the report. Please don't make the poor victim play 20 questions.

Hey, sorry to hear that.  It does suck losing a bike.  I had my second bike stolen from me recently inside a bike storage, in a condo bldg.  It looks like you've done the list of things on the registry.  Start looking at swap-0-rama this weekend or the following weekend, I did not do this.  :(

We are debating going to swap-o-rama on Thursday or Saturday. My question is what are our odds of finding it? Ive heard the stories but the husband thinks there is 0% we will find it there.
