The Chainlink

My road bike was stolen out of my apartment this evening. It is a VERY beat up and ugly gray frame with no serial number. Zipp 101 front with an older Zipp 404 rear with a Sram hub and no stickers on the rim. Gray Zipp bar tape and 105 shifters. It is an unmistakable bike so if you see it smack a mother fucker and take it back for me.

Those wheels cost more than any complete biked I've ever owned. Sorry for your loss. Will keep an eye out.

Yes, very sorry! And sorry your living space was violated... it takes time to get over that.

Dang that blows!  Yeh, that is really serious when they break into your place.  Hopefully you have renter's insurance to help with purchasing a replacement bike, I know this won't totally replaced your old bike but at least it will help with the financial aspect.

On the other hand, how did you like those 101?  I was contemplating on purchasing them before I ran into a personal issue.

Was anything else stolen from your apartment? If not, it's scary to think that it wasn't a random break in and that it's likely they targeted you/your bike/your apartment!

i cannot believe this dug !!! so sorry. really blows. I really feel sorry for the m_th_r f_ck_r who thought he could make off with your steed. (does he want to buy a  vowel).  let's all keep a watchful eye out and then read about the moment his/her life flashes before their eyes and then a lump in the throat appears and then DEEP regret as the wrath_of_dug is inflicted on that sucker.
