I have been. It's the 100 year anniversary and the course planners seem to have made the course more difficult than in years past, especially because of the early mtn stages.

Lance had a couple of tough days the last 2 days. Cavendish looks like he could win this year.

What do you say?

It's 5.3 over the air. I try to catch it most nights. Even if I can't keep up w/exactly what's going on, it's really fun just to see the racing up close. And of course the gorgeous Italian countryside shots make it even nicer.

I finally found the Universal channel on Comcast -- ch 251, also perfectly accessible without cable and a DTV converter box. But I thoroughly enjoyed watching stage 17 coverage last night! :-) Gosh... I wish I'd known about that hidden channel 251 earlier this month.
Make sure you watch tomorrow's stage, it's the last real chance to make up substantial amounts of time in the General Classification. It means that anyone that still thinks they have a shot at winning or making the final podium will be trying to get away on this last mountain top stage. Expect a lot of attacks on the leader, Menchov, it should be a great day of racing! At this point in a major stage race, anything can happen. Most of the riders are running on reserves and can crack at any moment, expect one or two guys in the top ten to completely blow-up. If Lance can ride himself into the top 10 on G.C. tomorrow, this race should be considered a huge success for him. As it stands, he's had a very productive Giro
Plus, they're climbing mt. Vesuvius, how cool is that.

They are ascending Mount Vesuvius right now! All the way to the top.
