September 11th Ride

Hello Chicago Cyclists and Cyclistas!

Would anybody be up for a casual ride hitting divey bars tomorrow (09/11/2010) late afternoon, evening, night? I would like to start sometime around 5:00/5:30. I am not sure if you know but I worked in lower Manhattan (and was very lucky) on 09/11 and get a little kooky on the 11th. Riding, booze and good people always help.

My drinking will likely start before noon, but for those interested I will be at Old Town Ale House (219 West North Avenue)

nice idea. I will never forget 9/12/01 : I worked in the merchandise mart (aka "World Trade Center Chicago") and they told us to stay home (it was a possible target). I went on a 70 mile ride in the
burbs and it was very haunting see NO airplane the entire day.

You bringing the bullhorn?
You might want to incorporate the Working Bikes anniversary party into your plans-- I think it starts around 7 or so. I'd be up for such a ride, but more in the late evening space after Working Bikes.
