It is with a heavy heart that I sell my baby; I got her after returning from Amsterdam, where I fell in love with the 'friendly, enjoy yourself, not everything is about speed' bike-lifestyle.
I've had her for three years and it was bought used, so I'm not sure how old she is.
Things I DO know --
- single-speed
- coaster brake
- fits tall people (I'm 6'0 so added a seat with an extra-long seat-post; it can be easily adjusted to fit shorter folk)
- she's authentic Dutch! Our Dutch friend came to stay with us and he inspected it from top to bottom, and was so stoked to tell us she's the real thing (aka good-quality and reliable)
- model: Locomotief Dieran
- it's heavy. If you live on the third floor and have to store your bike in your apartment, or want to use this for your commute and that requires stair-climbing, this is not the bike for you
- has been kept inside, not subject to the weather

Nice bike! I have a soft spot for Locomotief bikes, since my mom would carry me on one when I was a little kid.
FWIW, the model name is likely not "Dieran". Locomotief was bought in 1968 by Gazelle, which moved production to Dieren, a small town near Arnhem. Much like Chicago mad Schwinns would say Chicago on the badge.
