I searched the archives but couldn't find an answer to this, so here goes....any recommendations for bike parking near Northwestern Hospital? Does its parking garage have bike racks inside? Many thanks!

My wife works at the hospital and found a bike parking spot inside one of the garage parking lots. I think she pays $25/year for it. I can find out more details if you'd like

Thanks Jordan! Would love to hear more about where your wife parks her bike....I just started a new job with NW (in an outpatient clinic near the hospital) this week. Took the el today since I wasn't sure about bike parking, but it was sooooooo irksome to not be riding my bike on such a beautiful day.....so I'm realizing I need to figure out the bike parking situation asap or I may go crazy not riding! :o)

This is probably a dumb question, but is NW Hospital part of the University?  I ask b/c I work at Northwestern Law School (375 East Chicago) and when I signed up for my Univ. ID, etc., I paid an annual fee (I think it was $20 or $25, so it may be the same thing Jordan's talking about) to park my bike in a locked "Bike Room" in the "Self Park" parking garage on the block between E. Erie and E. Ontario streets (about 2-3 blocks from here, and closer to most of the hospital complex).  They coded the magnetic stripe on my Univ. ID,  and that's how I access the bike room (it has a card-reader-operated lock on the door).  It's a very good deal - the bike room has racks that accommodate probably 40 or 50 bikes, and it's reasonably warm in winter.   I've been very satisfied.
