Scott Speedster Recall

Scott said June 11 it is recalling about 2,000 2014 Scott Speedster 30 and 40 and Contessa Speedster 25 and 35 road bicycles because the steerer tube in the front fork can break, posing a fall hazard. Scott USA has received one report of a fork breaking. No injuries have been reported. Consumers should immediately stop riding the bicycle and take it to an authorized SCOTT dealer. There was a huge recall a few years ago like this from Dynacraft/Triax(Target brand bikes). Two people ended up getting impaled, but I can't find an article about it anymore. They recalled just over 30,000 bikes from that, you know, to prevent your bike from penetrating you.
