The Chainlink

One bedroom available immediately in massive standalone house in Humboldt park, near Homan and Hirsch. We live on a very quiet street made up of mostly single-family homes. Traditionally home to polo players, but other bike enthusiasts are welcome. Endless bike parking, shop in the basement, recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms (one has a jacuzzi tub!), laundry, central heat and cooling, front and back porches, a backyard, and its a freaking mansion. $520/mon +utilities (about $75/ea).

US:

One roommate current works at a LBS, and one at a tech startup. We are in our late 20s, have awesome beards, and bike 365.

YOU:

Please have a job. Please hold some standard of cleanliness. Cats welcome. Dogs considered if they can talk, hold a bachelors from an accredited university, and shower daily.

Message me if you or a friend is interested. Thanks for getting the word out!

P.S. - Bikes not pictured because they are covered in snow in the basement.

Holy crap that's nice!

Looks like a nice apartment. How is the neighborhood? Is it "up and coming" or has it arrived?

El Dorado, from what I have gathered in 5 months of living here and talking to other folks, the neighborhood is much safer than it is perceived to be and your experience will vary block by block. Humboldt park has a lot of space and quiet, but that comes with fewer public transit options and a little be longer trek to get groceries, etc. Perfect for bikers.

This is a last call. We have posted on craigslist and expect to find someone very soon.

P.S. - We have a bike stand now, but sadly, no ultrasonic cleaners.
