Roger Waters' The Wall concerts . . .
They're plugging the hell out of them on XRT and I have to admit he'd make a good addition to my "see 'em before they croak" list. I don't think my usual music-going friends would be interested though . . .

I saw them performing "Animals", complete with flying inflatable sofa & pig, At the Empire Pool, Wembley (London) at around the same time - probably the same world tour? A quick web-search reveal it was in March 1977 http://www.pinkfloydz.com/animalspeter/1.htm

Do I recall some controversy about the Animals tour in regard to concertgoers being upset that some portion of the show was pre-recorded? (Or maybe something about the flying pig catching fire?)

Cool Jason . . . thinking Friday the 24th may be the most likely day-- ride the first hour of CM, grab a quick bite, head over . . .? Want to do some research first and find out if people who've seen it so far found it worthwhile . . .

While we're waiting, anybody want to hear about Led Zeppelin at the Chicago Stadium in 1973 or David Bowie at the Rosemont Horizon in 1983?
