Richmond VA to host 2015 UCI World Championships!

Huzzah for my old hometown, they have won the bid to host the 2015 UCI world championship races. Great to have it in the US, and Richmond is a beautiful (small) city which will hopefully benefit from the press and help promote cycling in the area overall.

Gibbles I am also psyched about this - bout time the U. S. of A. hosts the UCI worlds...an awesome event on the worlds pro cycling stage. I heard an interview recently suggesting that even though Lance or any other major 'figurehead' of American cycling was not present in the Tour de France this year, American viewership of pro cycling of this and other events was way up.

Good to see interest of the American public is percolating in this fine sport!
