I googled the model # and the ad is purportedly from 1897.

 

So is the seatPOST the revolution, or the butt-bumps?

Thanks Carl-- subject line edited. I also managed to misname the image-- 1897 is correct (but that info was available via the link to the eBay listing below the image.)
