Reporting cabs to 311 - Does it work?

I've called 311 to report cabs driving aggressively and have received a notification from the city later regarding the determination of the complaint, however, I have never received one for a complaint based on a cab parked in a marked bike lane.

Does filing a complaint for matters such as the latter accomplish anything or is it one of those complaints that is swept under the rug?

I don't know, though I can understand why they'd be more responsive to reports of aggressive driving than illegal parking.

Yes it matters and if the Chicago Business affairs receives three complaints against a driver they will suspend their Chauffuer license. I am a part time driver for Carriage Cab.
