I now have a rainbarrel, but need a pump to take the water out of the barrel and into my garden. Any suggestions for pumps?

I don't have an outdoor outlet but can get one installed if necessary.

Here is something I found which requires batteries- http://www.cleanairgardening.com/rain-barrel-power-pump.html

Oh, yeah...you have to install a spigot near the bottom and then yeah, you need to raise the barrel so gravity can do it's job. I purchased two barrels from Jackaki ($20/pc) last summer and all the pipe fittings and stuff from Home Depot. Everything was still less than $50 to make two rainbarrels. There's plenty of instructions on the web, just start at the add the spigot part, you'll want an overflow too. Say no to batteries.
I read in Organic Gardening to put the barrel on top of 3 cinder blocks arranged in a triangle, with their holes facing outward.

Here's another good site

Yep, that is exactly what we did with ours, cinder blocks & drip hose. It has worked great for years.
