Rag Ride

I am in the early stages on checking on the Rag Ride in Iowa. Has anyone ever done this? It looks like alot of fun. Is it a serious ride, or a rolling party? Do you need someone following you, or do they have teams you can join? Any help would be great. It looks like you have until November 15 to decide.....

If you were to search "RAGBRAI" on this site, you would find a wealth of information from people who have done the ride.
