Possible to mount a bottle cage to Transit Rack side post?

I'm looking to mount an extra bottle cage to my rear rack, since I'm out of space elsewhere. Does anyone manufacturer an adapter/mount onto which you can screw a cage? I think the rack rods are about 1 cm in diameter.

I found a clamp adapter at a local store, but it's for handlebars as little as about an inch in diameter.

(I do not want to glue the cage on.)

Thanks for your thoughts.

1/2" Hose clamps would work as well as anything else.  I'd wrap first with a bit of expired innertube cut to size and then hose-clamp the bottle cage right over the tabs that the M5 bolts would go through into the braze-ons normally.  That should hold pretty well.   I've seen this done with Zip-ties too but a hose clamp would be much more secure.

Be sure not to put it where your heel will strike the bottle and/or cage.

These can be bought at Menards or any hardware store for about $1.50 each.

Thank you very much.
