Possible stolen Leader recovered, is it yours or someone you know?

i work at at a local bike shop. a "street" guy brought in a bike he said he bought for $60 bucks at the salvation army. the bike is worth way more than that and i know the salvation army overprices things so i didn't believe him. i paid him $100 for it. i am pretty sure it's stolen. if you can describe the bike and give me back the $100 i paid for it, it is all yours. this is not a scam. my fellow employees were here and can validate the story. i wish i could give the bike with out needing the money back, but i couldn't really afford to pay $100 in the first place. it just pisses me off when people steal bikes.

Keep the bike, you bought it, next time this guy comes by with some property (which he most likely will) you and your friends hold tight onto him while the cops come. If you don't want to ruin this persons life with legal mumbo jumbo, break a rib or two and send him on his way.

I think MARK was just posting the text of the ad-- not sure how to track down the person who posted it.
According to chicago.stolenbike.org the bike will be stolen from you on July 5th 2009.
Talk about a sting opportunity . . .
