Pictures from Mass

I've noticed a strong correlation between urban bicyclists and Big Honking Cameras(tm) and lenses.

There usually are quite a few folks running around with some nice cameras snapping pictures in the plaza before the ride starts but I never am able to find many pictures on the webz after a mass.

I found this group on flickr but it doesn't seem to have any recent photos on it. A few shots from the December ride and Halloween, but nothing yet from Friday. Am I expecting too much instant gratification from the toobz with regards to photos here?

I guess in the summer there are more folks snapping and uploading shots online so they show up quicker.

Is there another place where people are uploading CCM pictures that I'm not finding. I've used the picture search functions on Google and found zippola.

Also, who was the nice young man who was going around asking people politely to take a picture of them with his iPhone? It looked like he took a picture of nearly everyone. This guy was the epitome of velo decorum and was very classy the way he would inquire with gentility for a picture and then thank the person formally for coming and participating in the event. Well done.

I found a twitter name "Workingbikes" -not "workingbikesorg." Is that the same? -couldn't find anything under hastag CCM at all. I'm not very twitterate, I haven't used my account since the Iran Green uprising a year or so ago to follow the action.

Foundit! I'm a leetle slow sometimes...

Thanks for those pictures. My wife appreciated the one of the puppet show. She didn't believe me when I described it. Hopefully I'll be in town on last Fridays in the future so I won't miss CCM so much. It's always a blast to ride it.
