Photography Bike Messenger Bags

There are camera bags that are technically messenger bags like the "Tamrac Adventure Messenger" but they are not designed for biking. I am looking for a bag that is easy to sling around like a Chrome bag but opens to easily access your camera equipment. Anyone have any ideas? Or is this something I should make myself and start selling?

I say make your own and just modify this design. Used wetsuits are available for fairly cheap.

That material is from a drysuit. Wetsuits only act as an insulating thermal layer. They don't keep water out.

I heard that the most recent issue of Momentum Mag has something like a photo bag for bikes. Anyone have a copy or know where I can find the bag online? I can't find it on the site.

I posted this on your Youtube video but thought I would post here too...

The use of an adjustable suspension hammock would be a good idea to keep the weight of the lens from causing damage to the camera body and/or lens attachment over time. Also it be killer to have the ability to attach a small light weight tripod. This is very much like the Case Logic SLR Sling (SLRC-205) only looks better made and is designed for biking comfort. Add those two features and maybe the option to put a cell holster on the front like a chrome bag and you've made the worlds best (first?) SLR messenger bag.

that wig bag is too small for me, just throw all your camera stuff in your current messenger bag, domke makes protective wraps.

it would be great to have one that a person can fit more then one camera not dsr but more smaller older film cameras.

Yeah having the option for two SLR bodies equipped with a lends would be EXTREAMLY helpful. Since most serious photographers have two cameras on them for two different types of shots. I for one would want to use my D90 for photography and my 550D for video. Would be great.

So Isaac, is this the final prototype or are you still working on a solid design before production? How much will this be? Photographers are the pickiest mother fuckers so you're never going to make everyone happy. : ) So if you are thinking about selling these on a regular basis you may want to consider two models.

If and when you think this is ready for production I'll help you out in promotion because I know there is a need for this.

I'm going to hold out on purchasing one until I hear if there will be an added tripod attachment and a suspension hammock. If those two things are not included I may end up going with the Case Logic SLR Sling (SLRC-205) and modifying it.

that sling looks like it would work well as a temp while the world of photography awaits for something that will please everyone. as for the price its not bad . thanks for the link
