OT Anyone know where I might buy a Go Board?

I was watching a Darren Aronofsky movie the other day. The characters were playing a game of Go, that chinese game with the black and white stones on a board. I had seen that game before and was curious about it, and now seeing it in the movie rekindled my interest in possibly buying a set and learning to play. I know I can buy them online, but I would like to check out the different materials and quality first.

Is there anyone familiar with that game and who might know where I can buy a set here in Chicago?

I tried learning it a while ago. It's surpisingly complex especially the scoring. I think if you go to Chinatown you'll be able to get a board or at least pointers to a place that sells them. The Internet might be your best option though. You can also play online for free which may be the easiest way to find someone to way with.

In addition to Chinatown, in Chicago there's a game shop in the Landmark Century shopping center that sells them. Go is easy to learn although the scoring is complex, like S said above. There are also shorter versions of it (Go Moku) played on the same board. The Wikipedia article on Go Moku is a good place to start learning the less complex version of the game. There used to be community centers in Chinatown where you could watch people play but I don't know if they're still there or not.
