One of a Kind, I was told….of The Balance hanging from the ceiling at
Turin’s in Evanston. It was Chuck Judy who designed the counter for
Turin bike shop and “any bike in the shop” was our payment, if we
could use my shop. I was in! This bike was my personal payment for
help in building a really cool glass and aluminum front desk for Turin’s
shop on Davis. Now I am 70 and it seems a waste for such a beautiful
Machine to sit and get dusty. The Cat Eye Speedometer needs a
battery. This bike is light, fast and strong. “Pedal to the People” tuned
it up last fall. Twist grip shift, 15 speed derailleur, dual front shocks, city
tires and a 20 pound aluminum frame. Recreational use only, but it is a
rocket! I would appreciate $500 for this classic Balance but maybe
flexible for the right person. This is my story, what is yours? EO
