Although the few of us that do are exposing ourselves to high levels of pollution, at least I'm not contributing. And clean with soap and water in a spray bottle.

The Illinois environmental protection agency and the Indiana
department of environmental management have declared Wednesday
July 20th an air pollution action day due to elevated pollution
levels. This includes the Illinois counties of Cook... dupage...
Kane... Kendall... Grundy... lake... McHenry and will... and the
Indiana counties of lake and Porter."

 

An Ozone Action Day, which can be declared by a local municipality, county or state, is observed at certain times during the summer months, when weather conditions (such as heat, humidity, and air stagnation) run the risk of causing health problems."

 

"Secondary sources include automotive emissions (leaky auto exhaust systems, excessive engine idling) and liberal use of household chemicals or sprays. It is believed that nearly fifty percent of pollutant ozone molecules are attributed to the presence of these."
