On functioning of bike share brakes

Saw this on The Paceline just now:

The topic is nominally about e-bike systems, but applies (I think) to non-assist systems like DIVVY as well. The saving grace might only be that speeds are lower.

Moral of the story: If you get a DIVVY bike with grabby brake, dock it and hit the wrench button.
