Saw this today on an art mag site I visit frequently. Hollis Hawthorne, a founding member of AWESOME Oakland CA bike performance/dance group the Derailleurs, is in critical condition in a hospital in India following a hit-and-run. Stanford will treat her for free if her friends/family can raise the significant funds needed to fly her back. More info and a PayPal link here:
