not many people riding bikes on Milwaukee Ave. this morning

I've been trying to commute more this fall, at least when it's dry. This morning was a pretty good chance to put on layers and take a brisk ride into the Loop. Didn't see too many folks out on Milwaukee this morning, at least not before 8 am. Of course when it's raining or snowing, you won't see me either : )

It was definitely windy on the way back from work! My toes about froze and my right pinky too. Time for warmer socks and gloves, apparently.

I pretty much had Milwaukee to myself on the way home.
7:00 am flight to Toronto; 6:30 pm return. I missed my bike commute today.
we're just on diff times. . i'm always out there around noon
You won't see me on Milwaukee much these days, since taking Milwaukee also necessitates taking Chicago, and the drivers are just insane between the Metra tracks and the river. I can't tell you how many times I've been buzzed within a foot by someone going 50 or 60 mph. Jerks. If I'm going to die, I don't want to do so on Chicago Avenue.

Haven't let the weather deter me, though. Riding my bike is the best part of my day. I wouldn't give it up.
i was there, about 7:15am, from halsted, onto milwaukee, then clinton. nice ride this morning. i saw several cyclists this morning.
