New Divvy station? Post it here.

I'd be interested to hear about new stations as they pop up.

I was excited to find a new station only 2 blocks from my house last night (a block closer than the planned location):

Per today's tweets:

Six new stations planned for today: Lake Shore Dr & Stratford Pl, Broadway & Wilson Ave, Broadway & Argyle St, Broadway & Berwyn Ave, Paulina St & Montrose Ave, and Damen Ave & Belle Plaine Ave.

Yeah, even their short term planning is of dubious quality. Various days they promised 6 new stations, yet installed 8.

This is interesting. In the original plan, everything above Lawrence would be delayed until spring 2014. Today they are jumping north of Lawrence. Maybe we'll see those Andersonville stations before winter after all :)

I think this is accurate, except Damen/Belle Plaine got postponed and Stetson/South Water Street got put in instead.

Broadway and Argyle is not yet on-line either

Yeah, I'm not sure about that one.  I was out at three of the sites: Broadway/Wilson, Broadway/Berwyn & Stetson/South Water, but not the other three, so I'm not absolutely certain the station went in at Argyle.  I didn't hear anything about the crew not successfully installing the station, but sometimes all it takes to call things off is an illegally parked car or two right where we need to work. Stetson doesn't seem to be online either, though I helped with the physical installation of the station, so I know it's there.  Possibly the tech folks (who follow the deployment crew) didn't want to open up the kiosks in this evening's downpour to boot up the stations, and they'll wait until tomorrow.  Getting the electronics inside all wet is usually considered a bad idea.

Good news.  If anyone is interested, there's a good street market on Thursday night on Argyle between Kenmore and Sheridan (next Thursday is the last I think).  Sun Wah roasts and sells whole ducks to take home.

I'm on Divvy until my replacement wheel comes in.  Got some serious cracks.

The final Night Market on Argyle for this season is tonight.

At long last, there is a Divvy station within a five minute walk from where I live at Lake Shore and Stratford.
