The Chainlink

a small double-sided pannier, very very preferably with a center flap that comes over the top of the rack from which the two pouches hang, for a stubby front rack-- should be about 8" in length, and the pouches only need to be about 6" deep (a bit more is OK).
Need it to hang batteries for a new o-t-b system I want to put together.  The simpler the better.

I tore the whole internet apart last night (made it all the way to the end and then went through it again) but couldn't find anything that was the right size and configuration.

Most preferably I'd like to find it in a B&M here rather than feed the bicycle e-tailers, but I know that may be dreaming.

Any leads appreciated-- thanks!

I donated a red pair, exactly as you described here, to Cyclo Urbano about 2 weeks ago. Go get em! They were red, nylon, Cannondale branded and $10 new from Robert's Cycle when i bought them two years ago. They might still have a pair...

I also saw a similar model at Quick Release last night when i stopped in.
I picked up this for the trip to Milwaukee last April. It worked out quite nicely.

It might be overkill for what you need it for though.
Thanks!
I did come across a few of that type in searching, and there's something about that top compartment I don't care for. Would probably bite if it was cheaper though.

Oops, I spaced on responding to this-- very helpful, thanks!

Thanks, KZ. I love Jandd to death, but both are too long for my rack (and more than I want to spend . . .)
I stopped in-- apparently they went very quickly.

Any further leads appreciated!
