Hey all!

One of my best friends who is in the air force is coming home next weekend. He's a jet engine mechanic that is stationed out at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia. This guy is probably the main reason i am as crazy about anything cycling related as I am. He's one of my best friends and when we were in high school we would always go out and ride our shitty bikes until the sun came up, pretty much every night during summer.

I do have another bike, but its a track bike and I wanted to ride some paved trails with him on Sunday, cause he's starting to get into road biking out in Georgia with some other cyclists there. We can do a one-day trade, I can borrow your bike and you can borrow mine, though one thing it needs to be is at LEAST 56cm tall, and maybe SPD-type pedals.

If anyone can help me out, I would be eternally grateful.

My cross bike is only a 54, but it has spds, if it is just for a couple days I would lend it to you
I don't have one yet, but soon will have a tall person's bike that I will be happy to lend out.
Flip this bike!

From now until next weekend there is plenty of time to find something decent on Craigslist at a low enough price that you can flip it when he leaves.

If you know anything at all about maintenance you can have it in much better shape than you bought it in with nothing more than a little labor and easily get what you put into it back out -if not more.
Mike, thats an extremely generous offer...

My friend's about 6'3" so I can let him ride mine and I'll ride yours. And it would only be for Sunday the 5th, IF he even has enough the time to ride, with family and everyone wanting to spend time with him.

I'll let you know in a couple of days what the plan is.

Thanks Mike and Julie!

You guys are awesome.
