Milage Census - How many miles per month on Average for you regulars ?

I know it is getting cold now, but during the warm weather how many miles a month on average are people riding. How many miles per month do you figure you will be riding during cold weather Dec - March ? Using my own example - 2 times weekly from Northfield to North and Western =60 miles or 15 miles each way, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. So between 160-240 miles generally speaking=200 miles give or take. I figure this winter that will be cut in Half=100 miles. How about you ? Any Ideas how many calories spent per mile ?

I would estimate my monthly average around 300-400 mi per month from Nov-mid March. Working in the bike biz things are slower, and I dont have to get to one of my jobs very often. Most of the year I average 650-800 mi per month, not including any social riding. My winter distance is an estimate, as I dont have a computer on the winter bike. I dont want to know how fast I am going- it's slow. I am going to give a trainer one last try this year. I have never had the luxury of having it in the living room near the TV or stereo. It has always been in the basement or attic, so I was looking at pipes or boxes. I found neither very inspirational settings. I finnaly have a big enough place.

Well during pleasant weather I do 24 miles round trip to work five times a week plus maybe another 20 per week for errands and drinking downtown. So that would be around 560 miles a month give or take. Now that it's cold though, that number will be reduced to maybe around 200 miles a month, if that. I know that's weak, and the mind is willing, but the bones are not.
