I just wanted to share this message the European Cyclist's Federation sent out after the terror attacks in Brussels.

FROM ECF IN BRUSSELS TO ALL OUR MEMBERS, SUPPORTERS AND FRIENDS

Dear friends of ECF,

As you can imagine yesterday was a very challenging day for everyone in our team at Brussels.

I am pleased to be able to tell you that all of our team is safe and well. I am incredibly proud of my team for the way they continued with professionalism, keeping their families and friends reassured but quietly getting on with the work of our Federation.

I also want to thank you, so many of our members and networks got in touch expressing your concern. It showed us the importance of our global community and how much we value each other’s contribution to the greater good.

We are all proud that we represent an international organisation in this international city. On an occasion like this we are so glad we work with a community that shares values such as peace, tolerance and human rights. This inspires us to carry on our work.
