Big shout out to the Critical Mass folks from a first-timer: that was a HOOT! What a great bunch of folks and what a forward-thinking idea to gather around. Loved the bubbles and the unicyle and the "Happy Friday!" cheers.

Mass is going to be a tradition from now on.

Yay for us!

Welcome Dave - it is a joy year 'round. You will never look at Hallowe'en the same way again, either.
Dear Neighbor,
Welcome to the party!!!

oh!....Speaking of Raum's 'New Chicago'.... dying to know what happened to the group of 3 or 4 enjoying the dank sticky icky while riding in front of the CPD... at least the fuzz had the good form to let y'all nearly finish before they pounced... The City that Works!!!!

Oh... and?.. Yes....'typhoid skippy' the huffy and i were kinda 'drafting'.... i ain't proud! wakka wakka

My first Mass as well. Lot's of fun! I will definitely be doing this again!

I too, rode my first Critical Mass. Wow! I am hooked...looking forward to next month. Big shout out to the CPD who rode along.

I live in East Lake View.

Anthony/Adam/Dave- what part of town do you guys live in? Would be super-cool if some newbies would get together and come up with a route map for next month.

It was my nephews first time and he is hooked.  He wasn't sure if he could do the whole ride but after about 10 minutes he was like "lets do the whole thing".  Big thanks for all the effort that everyone involved puts in.

I keep talking about bringing my nephew on one. We did ride a bit once on Todd Allen's trailer.  He could probably now do the whole ride.

I've seen some pretty darn young kids with training wheels a number of times doing a good portion of the ride.   It's certainly doable with some sort of back-up plan or maybe SAG support from a friend.

Between this and the late ride I barely got out of bed on Sunday and it still felt like a long weekend.

I took him (nephew) on the late ride also (which he didn't like cause it was too quiet i mentioned that yes it was like riding your bike in a library we were the only ones that yelled when we went under a bridge and also yelled out BORICUA when we went under the Puertorican flags)

FYI he is a 20 yr old college kid that visits me in the summer when he is on break. I guess the term nephew makes him sound younger then he is. We are actually closer in age then my brother and sisters he is more like a little brother.

Ah heh, pity you didn't meet up with any of the ride crashers, we had at least three music bikes and a fair amount of ruckus.
