The Chainlink

Okay so my apartment was broken into two nights ago and some jackass stole my stuff.  He got my laptop (goodbye forever), my jewelry, a new pair of lovely women's shoes, my pocket change from my change bowl and my large brown, pink, orange and blue striped Lesportsac weekender bag.  I do not anticipate getting any of these things back, but I was thinking -

If anyone happens to see a bag like this, or a bunch of crappy jewelry in their dumpster or garbage cans in the alley, PLEASE let me know and I will come root it out myself. It would also be nice to actually catch the guy but my motivation is purely to maybe recover my crappy jewelry that he can't possibly do anything with.  I mean, I am sure his girlfriend will be walking around in  my Marc by Marc Jacobs zipper necklace and my more badass rings, but my brother's class ring?  my grandmother's class ring?  her janky old cuffs and bangles from the 60s?  I'd love to be reunited with that stuff.

SO sorry, not bike related, but if anyone sees that bag please let me know (or grab it yourself and let me know, if you aren't afraid of dumpster grossness.)

Thanks, Chainlinkers!

Oh, and Logan Square, the dude is like 5'5-5'6,  light skinned hispanic or possibly white, skinny, nimble enough to climb through a small bathroom window, ballsy enough to go for a third floor apartment on the end of the deck facing a really busy alley.  Get bars for the windows and call the cops if you see some shady asshole jumping fences.

It's not a weird favor to ask. I'll be happy to keep an eye out. I'm sorry you were victimized.
Just curious, whereabouts in logan square?

Thanks, Kevin

Carly - I live just south of Diversey at Kimball and Parker. I'm surprised he picked my place unless he knew I lived there and saw me leave with my dog.
