Lock your bike

This has probably been mentioned before... but how do you lock your bike if left outside during whatever (working hours, going out, meeting friends, etc.)

Which of these two is locked better than the other? The green or the red?

I use a security skewer on my front wheel. No wheel removal is required, just a U-lock on the rear wheel and through the frame. It's a "nice" bike though, so, whatever I guess.
