I would if I were a lady and home all alone (wink wink)
Please don't break in and vandalize St. Boniface! It's had enough trouble lately.
Is that what it's called? Just going to go inside and take pictures. There isn't much to vandalize, it's been abandoned for years.

I used to live down the street from there.

Creepy.

Oh, and this used to be down the street as well. THAT was even creepier.... made for a scary ass neighborhood in the dark.
Take LSD it's fun !
Compared to other parishes in the area, St. Boniface had the largest congregation at the time of its closing. After revenues shortfalls the archdiocese chose to close St. Boniface, as opposed to the other nearby churches, because it is located on prime real estate. It sits across the street from a gorgeous park, with an unobstructed view of down town. The only reason it's still there is because of dedicated community members. Well, and maybe a bad real estate market.

Good link.
I love that area-- some of the oldest housing stock on the north side.
Too bad they rammed the expressway right through it-- a great example of how communities were destroyed by the automobile-- guessing about 1/2 of St. Boniface's parish no longer found themselves in easy walking distance once 90/94 was carved out.
